JOB DESCRIPTION: Social PR and Internal Communications Manager

 L’OREAL PROFESSIONNEL.

 

Key objective

Increase the awareness of the brand internally and externally leveraging our tech equity. 

 

Deliverables

Strategy Development:

  • Formulate and execute a global PR strategy in line for each launch especially our big bets as well as a plan to implement our tech equity 
  • Propose innovative ideas to modernize our PR approach in countries and at DMI level.

 

PR Content creation. 

  • Develop messaging and PR tools (press releases, PR Kits, Q&A, events guidelines) for each launch to equip countries so they can successfully pitch local media
  • Develop assets on the brand equity or on the brand to enable countries to understand the brand 
  • Collaborate with other teams (legal, marketing, content) to produce this type of strategy and content


External and Internal communications

  • Capitalise on global events to negotiate more visibility for the brand externally with interviews/articles, and internally with the Group (Instagram page, Linkedin)
  • Develop and organise powerful animations at Seine 62 and other campus for the big launches
  • Leverage our iconic competition Style and Colour Trophy by identifying or rolling out with the theme, executing the competition with a focus on the metaverse, on board the countries and creating the assets.

 


Coordination and reporting

  • Coordinate constantly with countries to ensure guidelines are rolled-out, assets are used and collect communication coverage
  • Consolidate communication coverage & produce reports   
  • Manage category communication budget
  • Manage administrative tasks such as DED, re-invoicing, product order

 

Profile

  • A degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a PR Manager or Events Manager
  • Passionate & creative, who is not afraid to think outside the box.
  • Strong creative and content creation skills.
  • Excellent copy writing/verbal communication and research skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the landscape.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong in project management and execution.
  • Proficient in Power Point, Excel spreadsheets
