A Day in the Life:
As an HR Coordinator, you will report directly to the HR Director of our Montreal distribution center. You will play an essential role in the smooth daily operation of HR, ensuring efficient process management and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will work closely with supervisors, employees, and various departments within the company.
Time and Payroll Management: You will be responsible for managing the time sheets of unionized employees, ensuring their accurate and timely submission. You will manage CNESST disputes, meticulously gathering and documenting all necessary information.
Benefits and Absences: You will monitor SUNLIFE files for unionized employees, managing disability claims and maintaining effective communication with SUNLIFE. You will also track absenteeism, analyzing data to identify trends and propose solutions for improvement.
Performance Management and Integration: You will participate in monthly meetings with supervisors to review key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the organization of the deployment of new HR systems, in collaboration with union representatives. You will coordinate the integration of new unionized employees, ensuring a smooth transition. Collaboration with the Talent
Acquisition Team: You will collaborate with the talent acquisition team on the internship program, providing interns with meaningful experiences and mentorship.
HR Tools and Process Management: You will optimize existing HR processes and contribute to the implementation of new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of HR operations.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Possesses a Bachelor's degree.
Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, a capacity to take initiative, and to find creative solutions to problems.
Has significant experience in human resources management, ideally in a unionized environment (an asset).
Possesses excellent skills in administrative management, organization, and time management.
Is proficient in computer tools (MS Office suite).
Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Is able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
