As part of the Consumer Products Division team, the Business Planning Manager will lead the CPD sales forecasting process and provide effective leadership to the Business Planning team. 

This central role within the CPD commercial operations team requires close collaboration with key stakeholders to analyse and provide insights into business targets across all accounts and channels, offering exciting opportunities for cross-functional work and diverse team interactions. 

 

ABOUT THE JOB 

  • Lead and facilitate collaboration between different teams (e.g., sales, finance, operations) to lead forecast recommendations, optimize costs, enhance communication, and achieve business targets.
  • Drive team performance, celebrate successes, foster teamwork, and effectively implement the business planning vision and strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to planning goals, processes, and agendas to maintain organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance against forecasts, provide weekly updates on key changes while also providing recommendations to future forecasts, offer insightful commentary on market and account-level sales trends.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure smooth month-end close processes and the achievement of business targets.
  • Champion best practices within business planning processes, lead the annual sales planning process, and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end turnover estimations.

 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Previous FMCG experience preferably in Sales/Finance/Category
  • Ability to engage and positively influence internal & externalstakeholders.
  • Apply business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives across all functions.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and simplify complex messages.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical, operational and organizational problems.
  • Strong financial and commercial business acumen.
