Merchandising & Visual Merchandising Project Manager

Travel Retail West & Emerging Hub 

 

JOB SUMMARY 

In this exciting role, reporting to the Marketing & Retail Director, you will achieve retail excellence and brand relevancy by managing MEAI shops’ merchandising and visual strategy for your scope (brand and/or retailer).

 

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Merchandising 

  • Build Category/ Brand retail strategy in line with DMI, TR Zone and TRE objectives and priorities
  • Manage Category/ Brand POSM from budget, retro planning, supplier brief, production, shipping to follow up and reports

Visuals

  • Manage Category/ Brand visuals and movies from budget, retro planning, supplier brief, printing, shipping to follow up and reports

Planograms and guidelines

  • Create how-to documents to guide field managers and BAs in implementing new retail expression
  • Create planograms for all stores configurations

Data management

  • Update and optimize databases 
  • Follow up stock 
  • Ensure correct shops attribution: assign POSM and visual productions to shops

Retail excellence

  • Gather pictures and feedback from the field to enhance retail excellence in our top shops
  • Build strong relationships with field teams and suppliers to ensure smooth roll out

On your job 

  • Product merchandising : Creating and implementing the brand retail design and sustainable merchandising strategy in order to implement the brand image and identity in stores, reinforcing brand visibility.
  • Visual merchandising: Creating and implementing a sustainable visual merchandising strategy during key events and animations.
  • Brand local adaptation: Tailor global brand strategies to resonate with local market nuances.
  • Retail literacy: Understanding business, brand, categories challenges and use cases to assess risks and opportunities, accordingly, mastering the key concepts of end-to-end retail, customer services and related innovations and trends. 

 

PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • Attention to details, organization and rigor are a must have
  • Retail knowledge and brand sensitivity  
  • Previous experience in merchandising and a good knowledge of the merchandising know-how (materials, production techniques) are mandatory
