We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven project manager to develop our Travel Retail Exclusive Sets (TREX) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key business partner to our Marketing, bridging the gap between our Travel Retail Zone (TRZ) in Paris, as well as with our external stakeholders (suppliers, 3PL). You will be instrumental in ensuring the global development and flawless execution of our exclusive Travel Retail projects developed locally in Singapore for APAC region, driving growth with agility and a strong commitment to sustainability.

Key Job Accountabilities: 

  • Project Management Leadership: Lead the end-to-end project management for localized TREX new launches/renovations, ensuring projects are delivered on time in full quantity, within cost, to the highest quality standards, and with a strong focus on sustainability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central coordinator, effectively collaborating with Business Units (Marketing, Regulatory, Finance) and Operations teams, both in TRAPAC and TRZ to build robust TREX launch plans, as well as with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and 3PL. Integrate key considerations such as profitability, time to market (TTM), agility, compliancy to regulatory framework, execution quality, and ambitious sustainability targets into every project.
  • Operational Excellence & Risk Management:  Plan, execute, and meticulously oversee project statuses with business stakeholders, proactively identifying and alerting on potential risks, and delivering flexible industrial solutions.
  • Technical & Quality Assurance: Take accountability for the packaging and artwork development of TREX set, conducting thorough studies with external suppliers to ensure industrial feasibility, compliance with group requirements, and design targets. Verify and monitor product quality by defining packaging specifications, conducting homologation/transportation tests, and validating samples and production pieces, as well as defining co-packing instructions.
  • Driving Sustainability & Innovation: Champion innovation and eco-solutions in packaging design and processes, actively driving sustainability progress for the brand from conception through to production. Collaborate with Marketing on L'Oréal For the Future’s roadmap.


 

Required Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree. Engineering background highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant project management or product development.
  • Experience in Beauty/ Cosmetics, FMCG or Printing/ Packaging industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge on product development process, printing technology, manufacturing flow, and quality management.
  • Good understanding of FMCG or beauty industry, sensitivity to products and brands.
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management, collaborative and problem-solving mindset, fast learner, resilient to achieve project deadlines.
  • Able to work across global site locations and time zones in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluent in English, bilingual (Mandarin) is preferred due to extensive engagement with stakeholders and suppliers from China.
