What will you do? 

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for data and analytics platforms within LATAM.
  • Translate business and user needs into clear, prioritized technical requirements.
  • Manage and refine the product backlog to align with business value and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data leads, engineers, and architects to ensure alignment on product priorities.
  • Facilitate grooming sessions and break down epics into detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term scalability and architectural integrity.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between features, timelines, and technical complexity.
  • Coordinate across squads to manage dependencies and ensure synchronized delivery.
  • Ensure that sprint goals reflect true business impact and that the delivered features meet quality and usability expectations.
  • Communicate product evolution and delivery outcomes to regional leadership and global stakeholders.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in data, tech, or platform environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data systems, pipelines, and analytics platforms (preferably GCP).
  • Ability to write clear, structured user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working in agile environments and facilitating backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — from technical teams to business leaders.
  • Strategic mindset: able to link technical execution to business value.
  • Analytical thinking, prioritization skills, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Team leadership and influence without formal authority.

 

Years of experience required: 

+9 years of total experience, with at least 4 years in product or project ownership roles within data, tech, or platform areas. 

 

Tools & Technologies: 

  • Jira, Confluence (for backlog, stories, documentation)
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides for alignment and communication)
  • Data stack familiarity (e.g., BigQuery, dbt, Power BI, APIs, Airflow)
  • Diagramming tools (Lucidchart, draw.io for process/data flows)
  • Product roadmapping tools (optional: Aha!, Productboard)

 

Technical knowledge / certifications: 

  • Agile Product Owner certification (CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent – preferred)
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS – preferably GCP)
  • Understanding of data modeling, pipelines, and platform scalability concepts
  • Experience managing technical debt, data product lifecycle, and release planning
