This Packaging position is key because it plays a central role in achieving our sustainability goals from our L'Oréal For The Future Program.

This internship will allow you to develop your technical skills in design and materials as well as data analysis, and to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a stimulating international environment.

Your Missions :

 

1.            Detect positive environmental impact opportunities on our products packaging, with deep analysis of product data regarding recyclability, weight and material nature, sharing with product technical design rules.

2.           Lead specific technical studies on one packaging category and an opportunity (e.g. : weight reduction, material change to improve recyclability, recycled content implementation), to define working priorities for the Packaging Engineering Department.

3.           Sum up the packaging sustainability master documents, and make them accessible to help packaging engineers in their projects, and train newcomers.

4.          Support a concrete packaging development project that implements eco-design : involvement in project team, manage the qualification (validation) phase, lead touchpoints with suppliers and partners.

5. Lead packaging components analysis towards consumer safety.



Your Profile :

  • You are a Master's student, taking a gap year, undertaking a final-year internship, and/or studying at an engineering school.
  • You have knowledge in mechanical conception and/or materials. 
  • You have an aptitude for hands-on work and adapting to change. You know how to thrive in a challenging environment while communicating effectively.
  • You are dynamic, organized, and methodical.
  • You are proactive, a source of new ideas, and capable of working in a challenging environment.
  • Beyond technical skills, we are primarily looking for individuals with strong potential, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to challenge the status quo.

The Recruitment Process

  • Recruiter Interview - 30 min: To introduce yourself and discuss the position & the L'Oréal Group.
  • Meeting with your potential future manager - 45 min: To discuss the role's missions.
