Sourcing Manager (Marketing Procurement)

L’Oreal BNL is looking for an entrepreneurial marketing enthusiast to join the Procurement team (Indirect Purchasing) as a Sourcing Manager. Job Responsibilities:
As the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Services categories, especially A&I and Media. This high visibility role will report into the Procurement Director. This role will partner with the CMO team to understand strategic relationships in the marketplace for L’Oreal BNL, and look for opportunities to optimize costs and build relationships across the company. In this role, you will develop, provide and implement sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships, practicing formalized sourcing best practices and abiding by standards and procedures. This position is responsible for supporting all L’Oreal best practices in purchasing, creating efficiencies in partnerships and capabilities within the business, identifying and implementing cost savings initiatives while improving the quality of our supplier/agency base to optimizing performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the Marketing Categories
* Support implementation of global strategies
* Develop purchasing projects and define objectives, resources, timelines, scope, and supplier selection criteria
* Identify and support strategic partnership initiatives with existing and new services organizations
* Identify L’Oreal BNL stakeholders needs, market trends & innovations and develop strategic initiatives to support them
* Co-own the L’Oreal BNL Agency relationships with internal stakeholders
* Onboard Local Agencies and Consolidate L’Oreal BNL evaluation / KPIs
* Benchmark with best in class suppliers on the local market
* Manage project-based negotiations and contracts
* Partner with L’Oreal BNL marketing teams on their key projects
* Identify year over year initiatives (savings, process, etc.) and develop a roadmap for implementation
* Execute key spot buying initiatives in support of a division or brand to develop partnership short-lists
Optimize & Measure
* Identify leverages on the L’Oreal BNL marketing categories
* Support negotiations & coordinate regional RFPs + local implementation
* Optimize processes and simplify administrative tasks
* Analyze the Trend, Budget and Financial reports for the marketing categories
* Apply L’Oreal global WW saving methodology and validate with Finance team
* Propose, consolidate, and report KPIs
Requirements:
* Masters degree
* 6-7 years preferably within a Marketing Procurement team
* Experience working in FMCG environment preferred
* Marketing and or Media knowledge is a big plus
* Strong negotiation & analytical skills and the ability to influence
* Strong Project Management and interpersonal communication & presentation skills
* Team player and a self-starter; curious and out-of-the-box thinking able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Fluency in English is a must. Dutch and/or French will be highly preferred
