As the Senior Supply Chain Finance Analyst, you will be a key business partner to our Operations team, reporting to the Operations Finance Manager. You'll be at the heart of our expanding distribution network in Australia and New Zealand, using your analytical expertise to drive strategic decisions and ensure financial integrity across our three Distribution Centers.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide Financial Guidance: Support the Operations team with weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting, including month-end, forecasts, and budget analysis.
  • Manage Cost and Performance: Take charge of the month-end process for operational costs, delivering clear variance analysis and financial reports to guide timely and insightful decision-making.
  • Drive Optimization: Work closely with business stakeholders to monitor and optimize key operational costs, from labor and equipment to inbound and outbound transportation.
  • Lead Transformation: Develop and enhance our reporting suite using tools like Power BI to create consistent, insightful reports that track profitability and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure Compliance: Uphold L'Oréal's finance and accounting standards, liaise with internal and external auditors, and support financial risk management.

 

We Are Looking For

We are seeking a results-focused individual with a strong analytical mindset and a knack for turning data into actionable insights. You are a great match for this role if you have:

  • A solid foundation in Finance, Accounting, Business Analysis, or a related field; CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in a finance analyst role, ideally within an FMCG, B2B, or Logistics environment.
  • Financial Controlling: Expertise in managing costs, budgeting, and financial reporting in an operational setting.
  • Analytical Skills: A logical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex data to inform commercial strategy.
  • Data & Analytics Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and SAP, with strong experience using Power BI to handle and visualize large datasets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Business Acumen: The ability to understand business challenges and make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
