A Day in the Life

As a Scientific Product Valorization Executive, you will be the bridge between our cutting-edge innovation and our brand marketing teams for the Hair Care & Hair Color category. Reporting into the Research & Innovation team in Mumbai, you will translate complex science into simple, exciting, and credible proof points for our stakeholders and consumers across India, Indonesia, Thailand, and the GCC.

  • Scientific Storytelling: You will decode complex technical data and chemical mechanisms to craft compelling product narratives for our brands, key opinion leaders, and consumers.
  • Market & Consumer Relevancy: By monitoring competitive intelligence, you will lead claims competitiveness, map key need gaps, and steer future innovations to ensure differentiation and relevance.
  • Innovating Claims: You will collaborate with formulation and evaluation labs to build robust scientific proof-points and create innovative, consumer-relevant claims for hair products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will partner with local and global teams, including brand marketing, digital, legal, and regulatory affairs, to align on project narratives and drive claim test platforms.

We Are Looking For

You are a creative and analytical individual with a strong foundation in science and a flair for communication. You thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and are eager to translate technical information into engaging stories that resonate with consumers.

  • A Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related applied science discipline.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in the cosmetic, personal care, or FMCG industry, ideally within R&I, Scientific Communications, or Technical Marketing.
  • Scientific Valorization: A deep understanding of cosmetic science (surfactant science, emulsion chemistry, etc.) and the ability to interpret technical data.
  • Influence & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and presentation skills to confidently influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Digital Expertise: An aptitude for digital tools (GenAI, Microsoft 365, Canva) to create engaging scientific assets and educational content.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data from various sources to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Leading Transformation: A mindset to identify business needs and opportunities, and to implement transformative systems and processes to drive innovation.
