A Day in the Life
As the Community and Engagement Specialist for SalonCentric Canada, you will be the voice of our professional brands, connecting directly with our vibrant community of stylists and salon experts. You will be instrumental in growing our online presence and fostering authentic relationships.
- Community Engagement: You will animate and moderate our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), handling daily interactions with care and building authentic relationships with our B2B audience.
- Content Creation: In collaboration with the Brand and Digital teams, you will create and publish engaging content, support user-generated content initiatives, and adapt relevant social trends to our brand and audience.
- Market Insights & Performance: You will monitor competitor strategies and industry benchmarks to provide actionable insights. You’ll also track content performance and engagement KPIs, maintaining dashboards to help refine our strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will contribute to campaigns, launches, and events, and support our stores and sales teams in a fast-evolving business environment.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and creative individual who is comfortable engaging directly with communities and turning social trends into opportunities. You are a great match if you have:
- A solid background in community management, social media, or digital content creation.
- A strong understanding of B2B audiences, ideally within the salon and stylist environment.
- Excellent content creation skills and familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe, and social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout).
- The ability to analyze performance data and provide actionable insights.
- A knowledge of the Indesign software (an asset).
- Fluency in both English and French is a strong advantage to support our bilingual markets.
