Now we are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial salon emotion & retail design manager, to help our partner clients develop their sell-out and create a seamless consumer journey in their salons by managing multi-brand Merchandising, development of business retail tools And salon Emotion

This role reports to the Retail Director. It involves rolling out of Salon Emotion which is a retail experience enhancement and business boosting program on your designated area.

The Senior Retail design project manager will be in charge of the design conceptualization and implementation of the permanent POS (retail fixtures, salon units and furniture) on the GCC local market (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman). This on every single phase of the project from the brief to the opening.  

The roll out of the concepts will be done according to the brands guidelines provided by the HQ, taking into consideration the market’s needs and constraints to reinforce the brand image, brand visibility on the distribution (boutiques, fine department stores, multi-brands stores and Sephora) and support the business.

You will…

Be in in charge of Regional Multibrand Merchandising and development of Selective Retail and Salon Emotion, a tailor-made salon enhancement program to support the development of the consumer service and retail experience in in beauty retail and salon touchpoints .
 You will support Business Partners in developing new clients’ partnerships, developing Retail growth and Salon Emotion Program roll-out.

Strategy 

Define and create the brands’ retail design & merchandising image at the point of sales (POS) and elaborate the strategy to implement this image, within brand guidelines.
 Design multi-brand merchandising Fit-out, create and manage special concepts while adapting these concepts to merchandising tools and business objectives.
 Work on the conceptualization and development of the retail fixtures and salon Emotion touchpoints by defining guidelines for each concept.

Uplift brand’s visual identity to build customer centric retail concepts 

Create and design visual concept to animate in a consistent customer path, launches and catalogue 
 Drive the roll-out and massification of the project while defining and tracking KPIs of the project.
 Support national accounts by creating tailored plans and concepts.

Adapt the retail concepts provided by the HQ according to the business needs, distribution channel and customer profile

Ensure technical and legal compliance with a close and detailed follow up of the technical drawings and production 

Collaborate with 360° internal & external stakeholders to guarantee consistent retail experience 

 Close collaboration with visual merchandiser in order to ensure the openings with all of the VM materials and to ensure easy update in line with the brands guidelines and business strategy

Negotiate with retailers about staging and implementations in the interest of the brands image and visibility

You have: 

• 5-7 years’ experience business development or retail consumer journey
 • A degree in interior design, architecture or equivalent
 • 5-7 years’ experience in Retail Design and consumer experience
 • Knowledge in design softwares (sketch-up, photoshop, AutoCad)
 • Strong business skills (identification of growth levers, P&L…)
 • Experience in consumer journey, retail trends and merchandizing
 • Experience in dealing with suppliers for POSM and retail merchandizing execution: Managing external suppliers: designers, production teams…
 • Knowledge of PPD’s brands and their value proposition
 • Excellent analytical skills
 • Experience in management, collaboration and teamwork
