What you will do:
- Implementation: Develop high-quality SFCC code based on business requirements, architectural guidelines, and best practices. This includes developing custom features, integrating with third-party systems, and customizing storefront code.
- Platform Optimization: Optimize SFCC platform performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure a seamless and responsive customer experience.
- Technical Design: Contribute to the technical design of SFCC solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Be able to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely and effective support to business users.
- Code Reviews & Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback to other developers, and actively participate in collaborative development efforts.
- Innovation & Research: Stay up to date on the latest SFCC features, functionalities, and best practices, and explore new technologies to enhance L'Oréal's e-commerce platforms.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of SFCC code, configurations, and processes.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them develop their SFCC skills and expertise.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce development, with a strong focus on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing custom SFCC cartridges, controllers, and scripts.
- Deep understanding of SFCC architecture, APIs, and development best practices.
- Experience with SFCC Business Manager configuration and administration.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Experience integrating SFCC with other systems, such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.
- Experience with server-side scripting languages is a plus.
