About the Role:

The Microbiology Supervisor plays a vital role in upholding L'Oréal's stringent quality standards. You will lead a team of analysts, overseeing all aspects of microbiological control for bulk, finished goods, and raw materials. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring Compliance: Maintain adherence to international standards such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9000, ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP), ISO 5001 (Energy Management System), and L’Oréal Group regulations. ✅
• Microbiological Control: Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods to ensure they meet our exacting specifications. 🔬
• Environmental Monitoring: Perform regular swab tests and air quality checks to maintain the integrity of our production environment. 💨
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of Microbiology Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. ?
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Hygiene Engineers, to validate equipment and resolve quality-related issues. ?‍🔬

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or a related field. 🎓
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a microbiology laboratory.
• Deep understanding of core microbiological principles, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
• Expertise in aseptic techniques, microbial culture and identification, microscopy, and other relevant laboratory skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
