As a Manager, Omni Learning & Development, you'll play a key role in shaping this environment. You'll not only assist in the management of our LMS, but also design and deliver innovative learning experiences that equip our team members with the skills and knowledge to excel in today's dynamic beauty industry.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in the maintenance of SalonCentric’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring its smooth operation and effective use for training and development.
- Assist in the creation, uploading, and organization of learning materials, and take charge of user accounts, roles, groups, branches, and permissions, ensuring the right people have access to the right resources.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, making sure everyone can focus on learning, not glitches.
- Assist with generating reports on user activity, course completion rates, and other metrics to track learning progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with internal partners to identify needs, define learning outcomes, and craft the most effective solutions, whether it's a quick micro-learning module or a comprehensive development program.
- Stay ahead of the curve on learning trends, advocating for cutting-edge solutions that align with our vision and mission.
- Coordinate participation in enriching experiences like SalonCentric industry events, beauty shows, and regional training, providing well-rounded development opportunities.
- Spearhead special projects under the guidance of Director of Learning & Development, demonstrating your ability to drive initiatives from concept to completion.
- Seamlessly collaborate with teams at all levels, effectively communicating your vision and insights to gain buy-in and drive results.
Your Expertise:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is required.
- LMS Experience: 3-5 years of experience working with an LMS (Docebo, SuccessFactors, etc.).
- Technical Experience: A strong understanding of computer systems, software applications, and web technologies is essential. This includes familiarity with databases, learning standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI), and basic troubleshooting skills.
