A/ Summary

The Market Intelligence Manager plays a crucial role in providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making within L'Oréal Vietnam. This role requires a deep understanding of the beauty market, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business growth.

  • Internal: CDMO team and Division teams
  • External: Research agencies 


C / Main responsibilities, deliverables and contribution of this job to L’Oreal VN

  • Perform market estimation and projection across all beauty categories and segments, develop market evolution hypotheses, anticipate competitive dynamics, and evaluate business impact
  • Analyze market and competition landscape to define business risks/ opportunities
  • Lead tactical and strategic projects, collaborate with key stakeholders and achieve alignment on market assessments and competitive landscape
  • Provide strategic advisory and develop deep research and subject matter expertise to support business goals
  • Read and understand economic publications and summarize for the business
  • Partner with technical teams to create tools and data strategy
  • Synthesize and organize publications for the purpose of knowledge sharing and to convey information about new approaches and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide relevant and timely market intelligence
  • Assist CMI team to implement effective research strategies and analysis to build a bridge between Consumer Intelligence and Market Intelligence in order to develop comprehensive insights and actionable recommendations
  • Handle all market related reports to Zone team and internal stakeholders


D / Qualifications, background and experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Marketing/... 
  • At least 6-year plus experience in market research or any function related to data analysis or at least 2-year experience in Market Intelligence manager position
  • Knowledge of professional market analysis and research methodologies, tools (Retail Audits, Euromonitor, Household Panel…)
  • Excellent communication/storytelling and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent in English
  • Excel Master (Power Query, Power Pivot), Power BI skillful is a plus.
