What will you do? 

 

The E-commerce Key Account TikTok will be responsible for developing  the TikTok Shop business plan for L'Oréal Malaysia. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth, brand awareness, and engagement on the platform.

You are expected to manage the following:

  • Develop & Execute TikTok Shop Business Plan:
    • Define and execute the overall TikTok Shop business plan, including setting ambitious yet achievable sales targets, product assortment strategies, promotional calendars, and collaborating with agency partners to achieve monthly targets.
  • Optimize TikTok Shop Operations:
    • Analyze data and leverage platform best practices to continuously refine and improve the following operations:
      • Livestream Management: Define livestream schedule, quality and productivity. 
      • Short Video / Content Creation: Define target audience strategy and develop engaging short-form video content that drive conversion. 
      • Shop Optimization: Continuously optimize the TikTok Shop storefront, including homepage design, assortment, and promotion optimization
      • Affiliate Management & Mechanisms: Develop and manage relationships with Affiliate for livestream selling / content creation initiatives, including establishing clear partnership frameworks and incentive structures.
  • Collaborate with Marketing for TikTok Sales Conversion:
    • Collaborate with the Online Brand Marketing team to ensure seamless integration of social media campaigns and maximize conversion from awareness to purchase within the TikTok ecosystem.
    • Jointly develop annual framework agreements for direct collaborations with brand team for short-form, livestream content and affiliate strategy. 
  • Manage Inventory & Fulfillment:
    • Based on the business plan, forecast sales and manage inventory levels, coordinating with distributors for timely product ordering.
    • Monitor inventory turnover and product mix, making adjustments to optimize stock availability and minimize stockouts.
  • Manage Agency & Distributor Relationships:
    • Set clear performance expectations for agencies and distributors, providing regular feedback and guidance for continuous improvement.
    • Coordinate internal and external resources to support key promotional activities.
    • Evaluate agency and distributor performance based on agreed-upon KPIs, service level agreements, operational workflows, and annual revenue contribution.
  • Build Strong Relationships with TikTok:
    • Proactively engage with TikTok representatives to identify and secure participation in platform initiatives, campaigns, and promotional opportunities.
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends and opportunities within the TikTok ecosystem, adapting operational plans and continuously testing new approaches to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Main KPIs:
    • Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) achievement
    • Distributor Sell-in
    • Return on Investment (ROI)

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
  • Proven 2-7 years of solid experience in E-Commerce, preferably in a consumer goods industry with an in-depth knowledge of E-Commerce platforms and social commerce strategies
  • Possession of creative thinking and strategic mindset, with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for emerging trends in social commerce
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate and influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in steering complex projects from ideation to execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Self-motivated, driven, and resolute individual with a strategic mindset
  • Possession of agility, demonstrating the capability to swiftly adapt to dynamic environments and evolving business needs
