Job Title: Finance Controller - 3CE DMI
WHO WE ARE:
Finance team at L'Oréal plays a critical role in safeguarding the company's financial health and stability. They provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, manage risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Finance team contributes to the overall success and sustainability of L'Oréal.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The role will be the Financial Business Partner to the Brand GM and together manage the Brand as a business. You will be creating value though an entrepreneurial mindset and supporting important business decisions with financial business cases. You will be expected to seek opportunities to valorize and optimize the Brand P&L, to fund investments into our Brand building and create a virtuous P&L.
JOB SUMMARY:
3CE Controller for DMI Div.
- The position is focused on forecasting, budgeting, and managing multiple P&L line items to promote optimal decision making.
- The position also requests projection on the product cost process in order to act as a gatekeeper of the brand gross margin
- the position will expose herself/himself to a business partner role on the international brand P&L monitoring
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Monthly Closing & Forecasting of DMI P&L
- Lead new product launch simulation with cross functional decision makers
- Profitability tracking per key products per markets (Worldwide view)
- P&L Business review preparation
- Simulate new business opportunity
- Utilize large-scale accounting and financial systems including good skill of excel
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education: University graduate
- Years of experience: Over 5 years
- Controller experience preferred
- Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
- Proficient with Excel, SAP & analysis tool
