As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving cutting-edge research and development in the field of microbiology. You will be at the heart of innovation, collaborating with a diverse team of scientists, including formulators, biologists, clinicians, microbiologists, chemists, and data scientists, to develop groundbreaking solutions for our consumers worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the way: Spearhead scientific projects, collaborating seamlessly with internal and external partners.
- Pioneer new frontiers: Conduct research on the microbiological characterization of novel molecules within the exciting realm of Green Sciences and Microbiome research.
- Be a meticulous innovator: Design and execute experiments adhering to the highest quality and safety standards (QSHE), evaluating, and enhancing product quality, safety, and performance.
- Uncover insights: Analyze and interpret results from microbiological tests and experiments, drawing meaningful conclusions to advance our scientific understanding.
- Embrace cutting-edge technology: Identify, develop, and implement novel methodologies, protocols, and technologies to meet current and future scientific challenges.
- Be a knowledge catalyst: Stay at the forefront of scientific advancements in your field through continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Share your expertise: Effectively communicate research findings and innovations internally and externally through publications, scientific reports, presentations, and posters.
- Be a mentor and guide: Supervise and mentor interns or apprentices, fostering their scientific growth.
- Foster collaboration: Collaborate effectively with external partners, including contract research organizations (CROs), to execute research projects efficiently.
Your Expertise:
- Ph.D. in Microbiology, Agronomy, PharmD with a specialization in Microbiology. Candidates with relevant ( 5 to 7 years) industrial or postdoctoral research experience are highly encouraged to apply.
- Alternatively, we welcome applications from individuals with a Master's or Engineering degree in Microbiology and substantial experience working in industrial settings.
- Proven experience in microbiology within the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, or academic sectors.
- Strong understanding of molecular biology and digital/Silico techniques and their applications in microbiology.
- Expertise in cell biology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
