Your Mission:
You are accountable for driving development and category growth in a profitable way through value-creating strategy and channel differentiation. You manage a team of a Category Developer, Category Manager and Activation Manager.
My Key Responsibilities:
- Create Category Strategy to Maximize Growth:
- Define National Action Plan for respective category (PL) and (BL) markets.
- Lead the Category Growth together with multifunctional team: 1Y to 3Y planning.
- Build the Category Growth Story and support Category Development projects.
- Lead Category Growth meetings to cascade category priorities across the CPD organization.
- Lead Category Development:
- Analyze Category Performance and gather Category Shopper Insights.
- Define the ambitions of Market Share and Share of Space.
- Define Key Category Projects and assortment, distribution, and activation priorities.
- Lead category assortment strategy (channel differentiation, format strategy, exclusivity management) and HUB harmonization.
- Lead the Cross Functional Category and Activation Team to achieve excellence in Activation.
- Co-definition of the Promotional Strategy together with RGM. Definition of the "Golden Rules" of the categories.
- Co-design and follow up on the national promotional strategy.
- Lead key RGM projects (e.g., format strategy, conjoints, etc.) with support of the RGM team.
Our requirements:
- Proven experience in product category management, ideally in beauty or FMCG industry.
- Good understanding of business complexity in big international organization, specifics of cooperation between various departments.
- Solid knowledge of category management and development, trade marketing, activation and sales principles.
- Strategic approach and analytical mindset combine with excellent communication and people skills. Can-do-attitude.
- Experience in managing direct reports will be a plus.
- Fluent knowledge of English and Polish.
