As a Project Engineer - Eco-Design, your primary responsibility will be to analyze and leverage data from L'Oréal's eco-design and simulation tools. This analysis will help our laboratories and brands develop strategies to achieve the objectives outlined in our "L'Oréal For the Future" (L4TF) initiative. Additionally, you will coordinate larger-scale projects over time to ensure alignment with these objectives.
You will work closely with other teams within the Environmental Research and Sustainable Development department, as well as collaborate with sustainability partners in our laboratories. Together, you will map the environmental impacts of different product categories, identify potential alternatives, and provide accessible information to stakeholders using tools like PowerBI and graphs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying the various environmental impacts that contribute to the overall environmental footprint of different product categories and formulation types, while considering country-specific factors.
- Determining the most impactful families of raw materials/ingredients based on product categories, geographical zones, and countries.
- Establishing the environmental profile of each division and brand within the L'Oréal Group.
- Making relevant information easily accessible to all stakeholders through tools like PowerBI and graphical representations.
- Assessing the availability of potential alternatives by leveraging the expertise of our internal experts.
- Monitoring the progress of reformulations and their impact on environmental sustainability.
- Assisting in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the L4TF objectives for our brands.
- Addressing specific requests for impact analysis related to countries, geographical zones, and product categories.
- Coordinating projects that involve cross-functional teams.
