Overview of the role  

 

At L’Oreal, our mission is to establish a secure and well-managed Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) ecosystem, spanning Retail Stores and E-Commerce. Recognizing the unique financial and reputational risks in this sector, we are dedicated to creating a controlled environment by leveraging key data and segmentation guidelines. Our team, overseeing a regional scope, leads investigations, conducts internal fraud inquiries, and strategically manages country/area visits based on risk assessments. Through collaboration with stakeholders, we develop comprehensive dashboards, manage consumer behavior risks, and serve as a central point of contact for key departments in each country. Transparency is key as we present status figures, ensure alignment with targets, and implement action plans, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and training to fortify our commitment to excellence in the dynamic D2C landscape.

 

You will         

 

  • Manage full D2C e-commerce scope (own sites, friends & family, staff shop)
  • Ownership of eD2C risk management tools (Forter, eD2C Dashboard, Smart, etc)
  • Present dashboard/status figures to countries, zone and global stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Manage pre and post controls, optimizing setup when needed in risk management tools and dashboard
  • Main owner of Forter tool including management of consumer behavior block list 
  • Conduct formal internal/external investigations into fraud or policy abuse
  • Lead escalation processes based on occurred incidents
  • Manage action plans in collaboration with business stakeholders 
  • Conduct and lead strategic discussions with transversal eD2C stakeholders (local, zone & global) and Forter partners during quarterly committees
  • Key partner in all relevant ED2C projects led by zone metiers
  • Be main point of contact for key departments in each country within the zone
  • Contact country /area visits based on risks identified
  • Responsible of communicating new Loss Prevention trends
  • Complete control checks on centralized departments (Operations, Centralized/Semi-Centralized sites, DEC)
  • Close any eD2C Loss Prevention action plans as a result of Internal Audits
  • Provide training and upskilling to key partners
  • Animate awareness campaigns on top priorities

Success can be measured by the effective identification and mitigation of financial and reputational risks, timely resolution of investigations, clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders, adherence to compliance standards, and the overall achievement of set targets within the D2C business, ensuring a secure and well-managed environment.
