A Day in the Life

As an EHS Analyst at our production plant in Funza, Colombia, you will be a key player in the Operations team, ensuring our high standards of safety and sustainability are met every day. Your role is crucial in protecting our people and ensuring our operations are both safe and efficient.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Safety & Risk Management: You will conduct daily inspections, lead the validation of high-risk work permits, and keep our hazard matrix (IPVR) updated to prevent incidents.
• Regulatory Compliance: You will ensure compliance with local regulations (Resolution 0312, Decree 1072) and supervise contractors to guarantee they adhere to our standards.
• Culture & Training: You will foster an interdependent safety culture, deliver inductions, provide technical training, and actively participate in Visible Leadership walks.
• Investigation & Analysis: You will support the investigation of workplace accidents and incidents using root cause analysis methodologies to implement effective corrective actions.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. You are the ideal candidate if you have the ability to act with firmness and assertiveness to ensure safe work environments, combining your technical knowledge with excellent communication skills.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A degree as a Professional or Technologist in Occupational Safety and Health, with a valid license.
• Required certifications: The 50-hour SG-SST course (or 20-hour update) and a Work at Heights Coordinator certificate.
• Previous experience in industrial plants, with proficiency in supervising high-risk tasks and knowledge of process safety.
• Attention to Detail: The ability to identify hidden risks in machinery and processes.
• Effective Communication: The skill to interact with all levels of the organization, from plant operators to management.
