What You Will Do:

This is a high-impact, strategic role within L’Oréal LDB’s Target business, holding direct Sales responsibility for our esteemed La Roche-Posay and Vichy brands. This key account carries significant weight within LDB, presenting the right candidate with an opportunity to make a tangible difference in our overall success.

In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the retail landscape to project business trends and maximize results for our Dermatology portfolio. You will guide both L’Oréal and Target leadership to win with our brands.

  • Strategic Account Management:
  1. Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to achieve ambitious sales, market share, and profit targets.
  2. Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders within Target, including Category Management, Buying, Inventory Management, Advertising, Target.com, and more.
  3. Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Revenue Growth Management, and Sales Operations.
  • Financial Acumen:
    • Own the P&L for the assigned brands and account, ensuring profitability and achievement of Gross-to-Net goals.
    • Deliver accurate and data-driven forecasting using trackable building blocks.
    • Manage promotional planning, reporting, and funding while maintaining meticulous internal records.
  • People Development:
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
    • Cultivate team expertise in Target’s core systems and portals, including VMM, IMN/Launchpad, VIQ, and POP.
  • Retail Excellence:
    • Drive category elevation at retail, ensuring alignment with L’Oréal LDB’s guidelines and strategic sku-level distribution.
    • Stay ahead of emerging retail trends, leveraging insights to develop innovative and creative solutions within brand strategy.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Leader: 10+ years of proven sales experience in the consumer products industry, with a strong track record of success managing large, strategic accounts. Prior experience with Target or similar mass retailers is highly desirable.
  • Strategic Thinker: Possesses a deep understanding of the retail landscape, market dynamics, and consumer behavior, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Analytical Powerhouse: Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage syndicated data, sell-through data, and shopper insights to create compelling selling stories.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-Oriented: A highly driven and results-oriented individual with a passion for winning and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Valid Driver's License and flexibility to travel ~25%, including overnight trips.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of financial P&L management is highly desirable.
