Responsibilities
 
 Job Summary:

  • Report to the VP of Finance Transformation for North America
  • Lead Zone/Country implementation on new projects supporting Group Finance Transformation in the following areas
    • Transformation Roadmap
      • Providing direction and input to help design and implement best solutions for full range of new and highly impactful Transactional Finance projects - Sustainability & Digital acceleration initiatives, Invoice to Pay, New Closing Process/Tool, SAP Upgrade etc.
      • Leadership in driving Regional Innovation Lab from US & North America Zone to bring ideas, solutions and testing grounds for use cases on new projects/technologies in collaboration with group.
      • Keen eye on Simplicity, process streamlining, and finance operations ways of working
    • Transformation Delivery
      • Supporting Finance community in training and adaption of new and existing tools and processes as well as continued evolution of embedded core systems (FP&A tool, SAP, Media Management Tool, New Demand Forecasting tool & process)
      • Serve as key voice for change management and connection point between central transformation teams and the country and zone finance and accounting teams.
      • High profile interactions and presentations with senior leaders in US & North America as well as Paris and central teams.
      • Role in ensuring coordination and support for proper Financial data management processes in conjunction with Accounting, Internal Controls, Corp and Division Finance, IT and other relevant functions. Includes evaluating and improving clear process around Cost Center management, Chart of Accounts management and ensuring process and controls around integrity of allocations processes including assessment management in SAP and planning in Compass and other systems.
      • Finance community training and support – Key point for support in training and trouble-shooting with finance community around financial planning processes and close processes among others. Helps to ensure clear close processes around use of financial tools and feedback to group for continual improvement.

Systems

      • Working knowledge of Generative AI and AI prompting
      • SAP – Important to have strong understanding but also willingness to learn from others to expand knowledge and facility in key new areas as necessary
      • Microsoft Office 365 (Mastering)
      • Knowledge of FP&A, i.e. TM/Cognos based financial planning systems

Requirements

      • 10+ years’ experience in Finance or Accounting
      • BA / BS degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting. Prior Business Transformation experience a plus
      • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
      • Strong project management skills are essential
      • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative and fast-paced work environment
