Role Title: Data Processing Analyst
About the Team: Join our cross-divisional Data Team at the forefront of the company’s data transformation. The Data Processing Team is part of Data Poland & Baltics team, we are responsible for transforming raw, sometimes unstructured information from external providers into high-quality, ready-to-use data products. We operate at the intersection of GCP (BigQuery), Python automation, and Power BI visualization, delivering data that empowers key business decisions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Data Wrangling & Quality Control: Extract data from various sources (flat files like XLS/CSV, APIs, and direct database connections), followed by rigorous cleaning and quality verification.
- Schema Alignment: Map and reconcile external data schemas with our internal corporate standards.
- ETL/ELT Process Development: Build and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL (BigQuery) and Python scripts.
- Master Data Management: Integrate datasets with master dictionaries and mappings to ensure logical consistency across all processed information.
- Product Delivery: Provide processed datasets as optimized tables in BigQuery or as final reporting files (CSV) or PBI data flows.
Requirements: Must Have
- Hands-on Data Wrangling Experience: Proven track record in data cleaning, handling missing values (nulls), and resolving inconsistent formats.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to grasp business logic (understanding the "why" behind mappings) and proactively identify logical errors in data.
- Process Automation: Experience building repeatable data pipelines that minimize manual intervention.
- SQL Proficiency: Ability to write complex queries, perform multi-table joins, and work with datasets (preferably in a cloud environment like BigQuery).
- Excel / CSV Expertise: Advanced manipulation of flat files, understanding different encoding formats, delimiters, and common file-based data issues.
- Python Fundamentals: Practical ability to write scripts for data transformation and data extraction.
- English Proficiency: Ability to work with technical documentation and collaborate in an international environment.
Requirements: Nice to Have
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge: Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, or orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Power BI (Data Prep): Experience creating Power BI Dataflows or working with Power Query.
• Market Research Data Expertise: Familiarity with panellist data structures (e.g., Nielsen, IQVIA, Kantar) is an advantage.

You have the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you feel that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
