A Day in the Life

As our Corporate Affairs & Engagement Director for Pakistan, you will be a key strategic leader, reporting directly to the Executive General Manager. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the reputation of L’Oréal across the country.

  • Lead Public Affairs & Advocacy: You will map key political and regulatory issues, develop stakeholder relationships, and execute an advocacy roadmap to navigate Pakistan's complex landscape.
  • Drive Reputation & Media Relations: You'll manage all media relations, acting as the primary media contact and steering our PR agency to amplify corporate announcements and manage our local brand image. You will also use social listening to proactively mitigate reputational risks.
  • Manage Crisis & Issues: From consumer care escalations to brand value challenges, you will be on the ground to manage and mitigate potential crises, ensuring a swift and effective response.
  • Oversee Corporate Philanthropy: You will manage L'Oréal Foundation grants, liaising with NGO partners like those involved in the "Beauty for a Better Life" program to ensure we deliver on our commitments and report on our social impact.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the local landscape and a track record of shaping corporate reputation. You are a strategic thinker, an adept communicator, and someone who can operate with autonomy to drive significant impact. You have:

  • Extensive experience in corporate affairs, public affairs, or strategic communications.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, from government bodies to media and NGOs.
  • Strategic Communications: Expertise in developing and executing communication plans that protect and enhance corporate reputation.
  • Issues & Crisis Management: Strong capability to anticipate and manage complex issues and crisis situations effectively.
  • Public Affairs: Deep knowledge of navigating political and regulatory environments to support business objectives.
  • Media Relations: A strong background in managing media to drive a positive narrative and act as a corporate spokesperson.

What’s In It For You

  • A place for you to leave your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential (here, you’ll be encouraged to try new things and take risks!)
