About the Role
Join our dynamic Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) team within the CDMO Corporate Division, where you'll play a key role in transforming data into compelling consumer insights that drive marketing decisions across all 4 L'Oréal divisions and a diverse portfolio of brands.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience who wants to combine traditional market research expertise with cutting-edge AI technology to revolutionize how we deliver insights. You'll work in a lean, high-impact team of 3, collaborating with marketing, business development, and e-commerce teams across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Transform data into insights: Combine diverse data sources (market data, consumer research, social listening) to extract actionable consumer insights that drive business decisions.
- Partner with marketing teams: Activate insights across marketing, business development, and e-commerce teams, translating their needs into clear research objectives.
- Create compelling presentations: Design PowerPoint presentations that communicate insights in engaging, digestible formats using AI-powered content optimization.
- Lead research projects: Co-create briefs for research agencies, design studies, and monitor their implementation from start to finish.
- Facilitate workshops: Conduct co-creation sessions and deliver oral presentations of research findings to stakeholders.
- Manage agency relationships: Collaborate closely with research and social listening agencies to design, analyze, and optimize studies.
- Handle project administration: Manage offers, purchase orders, invoices, and contracts for various CMI projects.
What You'll Need
Experience & Background
- First years of experience in analytical/insights work within marketing, consumer insights, or research (agency or client-side).
- Proven track record of working with consumer insights to support marketing decisions.
- Higher education in economics, marketing, sociology, or psychology (preferred).
Technical Skills – Mandatory.
- Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel (you'll create presentations and analyze data daily).
- AI literacy: Hands-on experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI assistants) to optimize content and deliver insights in innovative, engaging formats.
- Data analysis: Ability to work with large datasets, process information, and extract meaningful interpretations.
Soft Skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – you'll be storytelling with data.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and tools.
Nice to Have.
- Familiarity with Nielsen, IQVIA, or other panel data.
- Experience with social listening tools.
- Knowledge of the beauty/FMCG industry.
