A Day in the Life
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will join a dynamic, international finance team at our Melbourne head office. As a key business partner to our iconic Consumer Products Division brands like Garnier, Maybelline, and Essie, you will provide high-quality commercial finance insights that drive performance and profitability.
- Financial Planning & Reporting: You will prepare budget, trend, and actuals schedules, delivering official month-end reporting using tools like Compass and Magnitude.
- Commercial Analysis: You will take ownership of gross-to-net trade spend analysis across online and offline channels, investigating risks and opportunities to enhance gross margin.
- Business Partnering: You will provide actionable P&L variance analysis and commercial insights to support the Commercial, Marketing, and Brand teams.
- Process Improvement: With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will continuously seek to improve internal processes and liaise with cross-functional teams to enhance data flows and controls.
We Are Looking For
You are an analytical, collaborative, and commercially-minded individual who is ready to make an impact. You have a strong foundation in finance or a related field, and you possess skills in:
- Financial Acumen: Strong ability in financial analysis, planning, and reporting to provide clear insights.
- Commercial Mindset: Adept at managing trade spend and gross-to-net complexities to drive profitability.
- Business Partnering: Capable of building strong relationships and providing actionable advice to commercial and marketing stakeholders.
- Systems Proficiency: Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Compass, or Magnitude.
- Analytical Thinking: A talent for investigating data, identifying risks, and uncovering business opportunities.
