Hello, we’re L’Oréal. We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As Advocacy & Influence Acceleration Manager, you own the strategic vision for how advocacy and influencer engagement drive measurable business impact across the division. You don't just execute campaigns — you architect the frameworks, standards, and operating models that brands across the portfolio build on.

You'll set the direction for a comprehensive, multi-channel advocacy and influence strategy, translating ambiguous goals into a clear roadmap, prioritizing where to invest, and building the playbooks that scale best practice across the organization.

Brand A&I leads look to you for strategic direction and functional guidance, making this a role with real cross-brand leadership scope beyond its formal reporting line. You'll be the person stakeholders turn to for a data-driven read on what's working, what isn't, and what to do next.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and governance: you'll shape the vision, lead its execution, mine performance data for insight, ensure programs meet compliance standards, and continuously refine the model based on results.

A&I MANAGEMENT

  • Own the strategic roadmap for influencer marketing performance across the division, identifyingstructural gaps and evolving the model to increase brand credibility, cultural relevance, and share of influence across the Canadian market.
  • Set the standard for multi-touchpoint activation strategy (mailers, events, paid collaborations, PR),establishingthe best practicesto scale across all brands.
  • Lead Grab & Glow, a proprietary influencer marketing framework tackling declining creator credibility and audience fatigue — with a mandate to position and scale it as a global best practice.
  • Provide strategic and functional direction to brand A&I leads, ensuring alignment, consistency, and performance against division-wide standards.
  • Oversee A&I agency operations, project governance, and end-to-end campaign execution — influencer selection, content approval, KPI reporting, and compliance.
  • Negotiate influencer contracts and set the compliance bar for all activations.
  • Partner with education teams to design and roll out pro-content and training (social strategy, content creation, platform optimization), closing capability gaps across the stylist community at national scale.
  • Pilot and scale global initiatives for the division (e.g.,L'Orealistar, Proactive Conversations),representingCanada's point of view in international forums.

UPSKILLING AND BEST PRACTICE SHARING

  • Lead the evolution of influencer strategy from transactional creator partnerships to ecosystem-based influence models, grounded in ongoing analysis of cultural, social, and competitive trends.
  • Build the mechanisms for cross-brand knowledge-sharing, scaling best practices across PPD brands, divisions, and markets based on campaign results.

TRENDS AND SOCIAL LISTENING

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to Brand Management on communications strategy.
  • Present strategic recommendations to senior internal and external stakeholders — including audiences of up to 150 — to secure buy-in and sponsorship; represent the division at high-visibility speaking engagements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5+ years of experiencein influencer marketing, communications, or brand strategy, witha track recordof building programs from the ground up rather than only executing existing ones.
  • Demonstrated experience setting strategic direction forothers whether through formal people leadership or through influencing and guiding peers/indirect reports (e.g., brand-level leads) toward a shared standard.
  • A strong point of view on where influencer marketing is headed, backed by the judgment to translate that vision into a roadmap others can execute against.
  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy and execution— equally credible building a 3-year vision and getting into the weeds of a campaign brief or contract negotiation.
  • Sharp analytical instincts: fluency with performance data (KPIs, SOI/SOE/SOM, retention/acquisition metrics) and the ability to turn numbers into a clear narrative and recommendation.
  • Experience designing and scaling training or capability-building programs for a distributed community (e.g., stylists, agency partners, brand teams).
  • Deep understanding of the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle influencer landscape in Canada; existing relationships with agencies and platforms are an asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset, given the national scope of the role.
