A Day in the Life As Senior Manager, Electrical, Electronic and Connected Device Safety and Compliance, you will report to the Global Director - Medical Devices and Aesthetic Beauty within the SRCM team of L'Oréal R&I. You will work within a dynamic and international team, collaborating closely with R&I teams (particularly the Augmented Beauty team), Marketing, and Production. This role will allow you to contribute directly to L'Oréal's innovation by ensuring the safety and compliance of our connected beauty devices.
- Regulatory and Safety Expertise: You will oversee all aspects of safety and regulatory compliance for our electronic devices, including personalized care devices, cosmetic diagnostic tools, and energy-based devices. You will ensure compliance with global regulations, integrating the specific requirements for applications, AI, and connected objects.
- Risk Analysis and Certification: You will actively participate in risk analyses throughout the product lifecycle, review certification reports, and ensure compliance with the strictest safety standards.
- Collaboration and Monitoring: You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of safety and compliance. You will ensure constant regulatory monitoring, anticipate changes in standards, and analyze their potential impact.
- Training and Awareness: You will train and raise awareness among teams regarding safety and compliance requirements.
We Are Looking For
- Extensive expertise in the safety and regulatory compliance of electrical, electronic, and connected devices, acquired within a large company in the consumer electronics sector (more than 10 years of experience).
- In-depth knowledge of global regulations regarding electricity, EMC, and radio transmitting devices, with significant experience in applications, AI, and connected objects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- A proven ability to manage complex projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong proactivity, rigor, organizational skills, and ability to propose solutions.
- Fluency in English is essential.
Your Team
You will join a highly strategic and collaborative management team, composed of two other experienced managers. This key role will allow you to directly influence strategic decisions regarding safety and compliance and to collaborate closely with high-level experts within L'Oréal R&I.
