Type of contract : Permanent Contract
Location : Clichy

And where do you fit in? As an Environmental Impact Assessment Engineer, you will be a key player in this transformation!

Your missions, your challenges:

Identify the levers: You will lead life cycle analysis (LCA) projects for our ingredients and raw materials, contributing to the assessment of our formulas and finished products. Like a sustainability detective, you will identify and quantify their environmental impacts to guide our teams towards more responsible choices.

Orchestrate collaboration: You will be the conductor of cross-functional projects, in constant interaction with R&I, industry, purchasing, communication, and our external partners.

Become the guardian of our environmental data: You will manage and enrich our environmental impact databases. Your mission? To ensure the reliability and traceability of this precious data to feed our eco-design tools and contribute to our environmental reports (such as our greenhouse gas emissions report).

LCA, your playground: You will bring your technical expertise to the monitoring of outsourced LCA studies of our finished products, analyze the results with a keen eye, and contribute to the identification of impactful recommendations to guide the eco-design of our products and support our environmental commitments.

Explore the new frontiers of LCA: Curious and on the lookout for the latest scientific advances, you will participate in the evaluation and development of new LCA methods to push the boundaries of knowledge in environmental impact.

Represent L'Oréal: At scientific congresses and within leading technical working groups, both nationally and internationally, your expertise will be sought to share our latest innovations and contribute to the debates that shape the future of our industry.

Demonstrate leadership: By participating in strategic working groups and convincingly defending L'Oréal's interests with external stakeholders, you will be a player in our scientific influence and contribute to promoting our commitment to responsible and sustainable beauty.

Your profile? A clever mix of technical skills and a winning mindset!

LCA, your Swiss Army knife: You master LCA and impact analysis methods like the back of your hand, and dedicated software (SimaPro in particular) holds no secrets for you.

A keen sense of the field: You have a clear vision of the applications of LCA in regulation and sustainable development, and you are passionate about national and international issues.

Project manager at heart: You know how to manage a project from A to Z, from its design to its completion, adapting brilliantly to different contexts.

Passion for results: Rigor, attention to detail, and operational excellence are your watchwords. You stop at nothing to achieve your objectives and obtain concrete results.

An outstanding communicator: You know how to convey your ideas clearly and convincingly, both in writing and orally, in French and English (of course!).

A born team player: You thrive in a collaborative and multicultural environment where everyone puts their talents to work for a common cause.
