Within Augmented Beauty, dedicated to elevating the beauty experience for consumers through the invention and development of connected Beauty Devices combining electronics, mechanics and software with cosmetic formulas, we are looking for our next Engineering Director - Europe (M/F).  


As Head of Engineering - Europe, you will ensure the continuous improvement of the portfolio, and the development and industrialization of new Beauty Devices in line with the Augmented Beauty strategy. 


Your main responsibilities will include  :


  • Create and develop the Engineering Europe department within Augmented Beauty : 
    • Co-construct the product roadmap with our brands, the Augmented Beauty mancom and the innovation teams. 
    • Set and define, in collaboration with the business, the product requirements, key functions and distinctive user experiences to be achieved. 
    • Manage the technical development of products, both internally and externally, taking into account industrial design, performance and cost constraints, while ensuring that products are scalable and of uncompromising quality. 
    • Assess the maturity of technologies prior to their integration into products, and support prototyping in the upstream phase. 
    • Develop and fine-tune key technologies for future products. 
    • Ensure continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and business priorities. 
    • Foster fruitful collaboration within the organization, with suppliers and external partners. 
    • Identify risks and elaborate mitigation plans with teams. 
    • Deploy tools and methods to reduce development and time-to-market. 

  • People Development 
    • Promote and deploy a product-oriented, innovation mindset with a systems vision. 
    • Support team members in their professional development.  
    • Lead the team through cross-functional projects, enabling team members to benefit from the expertise and skills of their colleagues.  
    • Develop roles and responsibilities in line with the skills and ambitions of each team member. 


To succeed in this position, you have: 


  • Master's degree or PhD in systems engineering, mechatronics or electronics 
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in device design, industrialization and rollout 
  • An interest in the field of augmented beauty and beauty tech.
