ABOUT THE JOB

As the Brand Business Activation Lead, a senior role reporting to the Brand Director, you will drive all brand activation initiatives for Kérastase and our Accelerator Brands within the Professional Products team. This strategic position focuses on translating global brand visions into impactful local plans across both digital and traditional media, engaging professional partners and consumers alike. You will also manage the total brand Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget for activation, collaborating closely with the Brand Director to ensure strategic investment and optimal ROI.

While the primary focus of this evolving role is on activation, we expect you to bring a comprehensive understanding of the entire marketing ecosystem, including product management, brand advocacy, communications, and brand education, to ensure integrated and impactful strategies. You will also lead and develop a dedicated team, guiding their efforts in delivering exceptional brand activation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Brand Activation Strategy: Develop and execute innovative activation strategies for Kérastase and Accelerator Brands, leveraging digital and traditional media to engage professional stylists and consumers.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Inspire and lead a team of activation professionals, fostering growth and ensuring cohesive execution across assigned brands.
  • Drive Engagement Initiatives: Spearhead events, partnerships, and digital programs to enhance visibility, foster community, and drive trial and loyalty.
  • Total Brand A&P Budget Management: Manage and optimize the total brand A&P budget for activation in close collaboration with the Brand Director, ensuring efficient resource allocation and strategic objectives are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, education, digital, and product development teams for seamless campaign integration and execution.
  • Market Insight & Optimization: Monitor market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities, optimize programs, and maintain brand leadership.
  • Performance Analysis & Growth: Analyze campaign effectiveness using robust performance measures to refine strategies and deliver brand growth objectives.
  • Brand Guardianship: Uphold the premium identities, luxury positioning of Kérastase, and the dynamic growth focus of Accelerator Brands.
  • Strategic Input: Provide strategic input across product lifecycle management, brand advocacy & media relations, and brand education for holistic brand approaches.

ABOUT YOU

  • Extensive experience in brand activation within luxury beauty, professional haircare, or premium goods, managing diverse portfolios across digital and traditional media.
  • Proven leadership ability to inspire teams, oversee complex projects, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Deep understanding of the professional beauty industry, including established luxury and high-growth brands.
  • Strong financial acumen, experienced in managing total brand A&P budgets and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of broader marketing disciplines: product lifecycle, brand advocacy & media, and brand education.
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator, adept at engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, translating insights into actionable plans for brand growth.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
