This role will lead and manage one or more of the relevant subcategories cross Marketing, Media and Digital IT spend domains.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the assigned domains/ categories independently with an expert understanding of procurement against team objectives including risk management, process efficiency, savings and sustainability
- Manage multiple projects in parallel from RFP to Contract Negotiation to Implementation
- Develop and implement governance model to ensure purchasing compliance in managed domains/ categories
- Build effective partnerships with stakeholders and to be seen as a trusted business partner
- Define with stakeholders the Sourcing priorities and Sourcing planning jointly to support business needs
- Build trust and credibility in cross-functional strategic sourcing projects by demonstrating required expertise and supports to our stakeholders
- Deepen existing and build new stakeholder relationships to expand the influence of Purchasing
- As a catalyst for change, identify influential stakeholders and develop impactful sourcing strategies to foster flexibility and continuous improvement
- Formulate category and supplier relationship management strategy and performance management
- Review and develop different supplier performance KPIs and metrics by benchmarking with market trends/ intelligence for continuous improvement
- Mitigate supplier risks of existing and new supplier panel
- Oversee the supplier risks including financial, compliance, legal and etc.
- Identify potential supplier risks and support associated risk mitigation measures
Who are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing/indirect purchasing, preferably in multi-national corporations, or luxury retail or FMCG industry
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) process
- Proven track record in managing different IP categories including strategic sourcing, procurement processes, contract management and supplier relationship management;
- Demonstrated solid knowledge in procurement principles, market trends and best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management skill to establish long-lasting collaborative relationship with internal customers as well as external suppliers
- Ability to manage ambiguities and resolve complex issues independently, seek advice and for decision where appropriate
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working to agreed timeline and clearly communicate progress and milestones to stakeholders on timely basis
- Strong negotiating, analytical, and problem solving abilities with fact-based and data-driven mindset
