Analyst, Replenishment – e-fulfillment

Job Summary:
The Analyst, Replenishment plays a critical and highly visible role within L'Oréal USA's fast-paced and growing e-commerce supply chain. This individual is a key contributor to the Omnichannel Supply Chain Team, focusing on optimizing supply chain performance for specific e-commerce channels. This role requires a strong analytical mindset to assess and improve service levels, on-site availability, inventory health, and cost-to-serve.
Working closely with retailer/3PL supply chain teams, brand commercial teams, distribution centers, transportation, customer service, and demand-planning teams, the Analyst will contribute significantly to the planning and execution of replenishment strategies. The role involves understanding animation and business needs, using data to inform decisions, and proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement. The Analyst will be responsible for in-depth data analysis, problem-solving, and providing actionable insights to enhance replenishment and distribution processes, ensuring healthy inventory levels and efficient order fulfillment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in supply chain, e-commerce supply chain, or a related analytical role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and advanced problem-solving capabilities, particularly with large datasets.
- Proven ability to create structure and clarity from ambiguous situations.
- Experience in a cross-functional, matrixed organization is a plus.
- Mastered understanding of SAP processes or equivalent ERP system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite with a strong focus on advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) supply chain is beneficial, with specific experience in US Retail supply chains and e-commerce being highly advantageous.
- Effective communicator, self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, capable of influencing process improvements.
- Strategic planner who is organized, with strong decision-making and follow-up skills.
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, able to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Dependable and reliable self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize the flow of qualitative and quantitative information between L’Oréal USA and retailer/3PL partners to improve replenishment and distribution processes, providing recommendations for supply chain enhancements (e.g., lead times, On Time, In Full, end-to-end Supply Chain collaboration).
- Coordinate and execute the replenishment and distribution model for assigned e-commerce channels, managing the order lifecycle from receipt through shipment, including SAP transactions, data analysis, decision-making, alternative option recommendations, and root cause analysis/investigation.
- Collaborate closely with Demand Planning leaders to ensure customer-sourced demand data is accurately integrated into replenishment plans and operational execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners (including retailer/3PL, channel leads, finance, inventory management, transportation, receiving, returns, and distribution) to optimize product supply effectiveness and efficiency and ensure order process efficiencies.
- Actively contribute to decision-making regarding performance improvement initiatives and proactively identify and escalate obstacles to direct management in a timely manner for resolution.
- Develop and present project status updates, performance metrics, and other relevant content comfortably to Senior Management as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to develop and sustain Best-in-Class Brand Supply Chain methodologies and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to challenge demand forecasts and safeguard against the bullwhip effect in the Supply Chain.
- Provide clear visibility on low-service SKUs and their recovery timing to stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure healthy position.
- Contribute to the evolution of e-commerce automation and data-driven processes to streamline internal operations and transform supply chain efficiency.
