Your Missions
As a key member of the Data team, you will tackle concrete objectives and stimulating responsibilities. You will actively participate in:
- Data Analysis & Exploration: You will collect, clean, and explore complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities for our brands and business units.
- Building Predictive & Machine Learning Models: You will contribute to the development and evaluation of models (customer segmentation, sales forecasting, marketing campaign optimization, etc.) to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Data Visualization & Communication: You will design clear, interactive dashboards and present your analyses and recommendations with impact to business teams and stakeholders.
- Data Engineering & Architecture: You may be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, as well as structuring databases (Data Lake, Data Warehouse).
- Tech Watch & Innovation: You will explore the latest advancements in Data Science, AI, Big Data, and Cloud Computing to propose innovative and relevant solutions for L'Oréal.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: You will work closely with business teams (Marketing, Sales, R&I), IT teams, and other data experts to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
Skills you will develop in this role: Advanced statistical analysis, data modeling and Machine Learning, large-scale database manipulation, data visualization, communicating data insights, and proficiency in cloud platforms.
Your Profile
- Education: You are a Master’s student (Year 4/5) from an Engineering School, University, or specialized school (specializing in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science with a strong Data component, or equivalent), seeking a gap year or end-of-studies internship.
- Languages: You are fluent in both English and French.
- Technical Skills: You master at least one data programming language (Python is a plus, or R), have solid knowledge of SQL, and are familiar with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio). Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or Machine Learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is an asset.
- Soft Skills: You possess an exceptional analytical mindset and are rigorous, curious, and passionate about solving complex problems through data. Your autonomy, ability to learn quickly, and skill in communicating technical results to non-technical audiences will be major assets.
