What You Will Learn:

This position is responsible for managing a team of MPS planners in charge of driving 30% of the zone units with a total of 400mu across 4 divisions and around $ 2.1Bi yearly in net sales contribution. The master planning director is meant to drive Operational excellence to deliver OMA core KPIs while partnering with the divisional directors & head of functions for efficiencies & success of OMA’s footprint globally.


  • Team Management: Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of MPS planners and planning, fostering a high-performance, continuous-improvement culture.
  • Build Functional Success: Build the strategic frame with the Leadership Committee as well as direct reports to drive MPS functional success and expertise.
  • Collaborate on Organizational Priorities: Contribute to weekly/monthly meetings with OMA Divisional directors to define MSC organizational priorities and roadmap/OGSM execution, while representing OMA (and its objectives) in MPS strategic forums with NOE and internal factories.
  • Influence Simplification Strategy: Influence the simplification strategy across the GBSC heads and DOs to deliver the right units for OMA.
  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Continuously drive strategic initiatives and the future vision for your team and OMA (project facilitation and coaching), while influencing peers and cross-functional partners.
  • Resolve Operational Bottlenecks: Ensure the team defines ways to improve recovery on top service offenders, identifies areas of opportunity, and deploys creative solutions to resolve operational bottlenecks in partnership with external partners such as head of GBSC and sourcing.
  • Team Recognition: Utilize existing forums to showcase team efforts and progress, reinforcing correct behaviors.
  • Partner on R4G roadmap: Ensure adherence to hero and reactivity updates within the MPS community, guiding them to partner internally and externally to drive the R4G program within OMA.
  • Drive Scorecard Excellence: Drive divisional scorecard excellence within external manufacturing in MPS teams for MSC and finance KPIs, influencing partnerships with cross-functional teams (such as quality, division, and finance leads, PIM, sourcing, GBSC, etc.).
  • Oversee Financial and Plan Analysis: Ensure monthly financial analysis on plant-validated units compared to M-1, Budget, and Trends is performed by MPS planners, providing feedback and coaching to deliver the message to leadership and finance. Collaborating with division leads to gaining a deeper business understanding and deliver plan accuracy and best practices.
  • Maintain Stock Continuity: Responsible for ensuring measures are in place to maintain end-to-end stock continuity of the OMA catalog (from Launch to Basic) during reformulations or product changes.
  • Manage Inventory Targets: Partner with divisional directors to deliver E&O and destruction targets by division, ensuring MPS planners anticipate risks and drive root-cause analysis for E&O reduction (e.g., FG MOQ vs. AC MOQ, FG MOQ vs. Demand, etc.).
  • Deliver S05 Financial Presentations: Present YTD results, as well as YTG trends and risks, for the OMA production plan and units at the monthly S05 Finance meeting
  • Lead Yearly Budget Process: Ensure the success of the yearly budget process in terms of execution (FG, MOQ, MD), analysis, and timeline creation with the MPS, planning community, and MDM.
  • Lead Service Governance: Ensure the MPS team is leading service governance on top service offenders, identifying areas of opportunity, deploying creative solutions to resolve operational bottlenecks, tracking low-stock Finished Goods for production dates and releases, and holding cross-functional partners accountable for their deliveries.



What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain) 
  • 7+ years’ experience in a high-performance manufacturing facility – consumer products industry preferred 
  • Prior people management experience 

Technical / Professional:

  • Comfortable managing conflict, problem solving, influencing, and negotiating. 
  • Strive in working in a high paste environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), to be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and our suppliers. This includes large audiences, presentations, emails, conference calls, brainstorming sessions, and one on ones. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials, and complexity. 
  • Approximately 10% travel requirement.
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role
  • Being present in the office three days a week is considered an essential function of all office-based roles for eligible full-time employees.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS, CIPM, or NAPM, CPM certification preferred.
