YOUR ROLE

Luxury retail educators are responsible for providing product knowledge, hair diagnosis and services to salon professionals. They work in collaboration with the sales team in their region and report to the National Education Manager.

Luxury retail educators must be able to effectively communicate the value of the Kerastase and Shu Uemura offerings while also building strong relationships with clients. This requires an understanding of both the product and service being sold to consumers as well as their needs, wants, and desires.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

A luxury retail educator typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Salons/Stylists Education Trainings

  • Provide education for salons/stylists in your region to develop product knowledge on Kerastase and Shu Uemura brands.
  • Arranging merchandise in a way that will attract attention from potential customers
  • Maintaining relationships with current clients through regular contact to ensure satisfaction with the company’s/brands services
  • Provide education to all new salon partners in collaboration with the sales team
  • Educate salons/stylists on the brand’s value, including services and retail, ensures in-salon execution, and upskill stylists on clients care and salon experience
  • Lead in salon events
  • Increase sales through education, live streams, and e-eventing
  • Social media presence to increase reach and brand awareness
  • Lead a team of freelance educators in your region
  • Provide education for new potential salon partners in collaboration with the Business Consultants
  • Track prospects in your area (based on established selection criteria) and assist the sales team in identifying them.
  • Communicate the brand values and product information through seminars, trainings, and webinars
  • Follow up and measure the impact of training, events etc. on sales and customer satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver license (30-50% travel)
  • Traveling is required
  • Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outgoing, passionate, and desires to make an impact by delivering best tailor-made education plans for all luxury clients
  • Very strong priority management, organizational skills and agility
  • Digitally savvy, knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Power Point and internal platforms)
  • Hairdressing experience preferred
  • Experienced with education and events both offline and online
