We have a suitable opportunity in L'Oréal India Supply Chain for the position of Supply Chain Transformation & Data Head. In this People Manager role, you will be responsible for delivering on L’Oréal’s ambitious 2030 agenda by leading strategic transformation projects & building data foundations in Supply Chain. You should have 12+ years of professional experience with FMCG, SC Consulting or a related industry. The location of the job will be at the L’Oreal India Head Office at Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Define a clear strategy for supply chain transformation aligned with Supply Chain Vision, Business objectives and develop a roadmap for implementation.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to supply chain transformation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing supply chain processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend and implement improvements.
- Technology Integration: Drive the adoption of new technologies and platforms to enhance supply chain operations, such as AI, analytics, and automation.
- Data Analysis: Use data and analytics to improve forecasting, inventory management, and other critical supply chain processes.
- Change Management: Lead and champion change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, Finance, Business teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate transformation plans and progress to key stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Business Case Development: Develop and present business cases for supply chain transformations, demonstrating the potential benefits and return on investment.
- Vendor assessment:8 Benchmarking with Industry solutions and Group tools. Assessing the available implementation partners/ tools / solutions wherever applicable. Cost estimations and comparisons. Putting in place a robust Master Agreement and Statement of Work
- Master Data: Ensuring accuracy of Master Data, maintaining hygiene and governance, reducing code creation TAT
- Team management: Team coaching, development, and management of off role/3P resources. Provide mentorship to direct reports, including employee development plans, and cultivate a healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and project management skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage projects effectively, and ensure timely delivery.
- Deep understanding of supply chain principles: Knowledge of supply chain management concepts, processes, and best practices.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication and collaboration skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Technology proficiency: Familiarity with relevant technologies, such as ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and analytics platforms.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to supply chain operations.
- Experience in supply chain transformation or related fields: 13+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
Key Relationships:
- Internally – various functions like Supply & Distribution Planning teams of different business divisions (Consumer, Professional & Luxury Product divisions), Factory & Warehouse Operation Team, Customer Service teams, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, Auditors, Legal, Accounts & Finance teams
- Externally – Technology vendors, consultants, 3P resource partners etc.

Education:
- Post-Graduation. MBA in Supply Chain or Operations from a premium B-School is a must.
