Regulatory Affairs Specialist (m/f)

YOUR ROLE:
We're looking for a new colleague (m/f) who will have a chance to work for the whole L’Oréal Adria-Balkan region!
Position of a Regulatory Affairs Specialist requires motivated, agile, and organized person who will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and interpreting continuously evolving Croatian and EU regulations for cosmetics, proactively identifying potential compliance risks and ensuring all products and activities remain compliant.
- Preparing and submitting accurate and timely regulatory submissions (e.g., product registrations, notifications) to the relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Conducting thorough safety assessments of new and existing products, identifying and evaluating potential hazards, and collaborating with R&I to mitigate risks.
- Reviewing and approving all marketing materials for compliance with advertising regulations and company standards, ensuring accuracy and legal requirements are met.
- Validating claims made about products, ensuring they are substantiated by robust scientific evidence and complying with advertising regulations.
- Conducting regular internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program, including policies, procedures, and training.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all regulatory activities, ensuring secure storage and easy retrieval of essential documents.
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (R&I, Marketing, Legal, Sales) to ensure regulatory compliance is integrated into all aspects of product development and commercialization.
- Preparing and submitting regular reports on regulatory activities, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders (including regulatory authorities), and addressing any regulatory inquiries promptly.
- Staying abreast of the latest regulatory developments, industry best practices, and emerging trends in regulatory compliance through continuous professional development and participation in industry events.

THE IDEAL PROFILE:
- Preferably holds a Master’s Degree in a scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, etc.)
- Has 2 to 5 years of experience in similar fields
- Deep understanding of the regulatory environment governing the beauty industry in Croatia
- Can develop and implement compliance programs
- Can conduct audits and manage documentation
- Is able to conduct safety assessments, identify hazards, interpret safety data.
- Can work in cross functional collaboration
- Has strong interpersonal and communicational skills
- Is highly organized and detail oriented
- Works with responsibility and autonomy
- Speaks Croatian and English fluently
