Job Title:               New Account Specialist- SkinCeuticals

Department:        Sales

Reports To:           Regional Director

The New Account Specialist is responsible to contribute to opening new Medical Accounts within an assigned region. This position sources new account opportunities through multiple platforms including web search, inbound calls, outbound cold calls, associations and affiliate medical groups. There is a clear understanding of the aesthetic industry and needs of our customer base. The NAS will route qualified leads to the appropriate Account Executives and strategically collaborate to increase market share.


KEY RESPONSIBIILITES

  • Strategic develops a plan for each territory to gain appointments and open new accounts
  • Researches the market opportunity and collaborates with sales leadership on gaining market share
  • Coordinates with sales team to open new medical accounts to achieve quarterly and annual goals
  • Effective communicator and strategic thinker to collaborate with sales team
  • Ability to adapt and stay flexible in a high pace environment
  • Has a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills to strongly collaborate with high performing sales team
  • Present opportunities to the sales team of new medical accounts focus on Plastic /Derm specialties
  • Researches various locations via internet search to qualify leads including identifying key players, competition, and services offered that integrate skincare
  • Works with sales team to expand database of prospects for each territory
  • Versed in sales and delivers pitch and/or gain interest via phone to solidify appointments for sales team
  • Conduct virtual presentations to medical accounts on all levels including physicians, aestheticians, and office staff
  • Ability to close an opening order and/or process & expedite paperwork
  • Aligns to corporate vision to expand SkinCeuticals share by increasing the # of new accounts in an assigned region
  • Demonstrate self-discipline to continuously educate on the ever-changing landscape of the medical channel
  • Identifies areas of opportunities for sales team and proactively engages with each Account Executive on their strategic plans to increase new doors

 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be extremely detail oriented and have sense of urgency to follow up.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
  • 3-5 years of sales or sales support experience in consumer products, pharmaceuticals, or related industry.
  • Basic analytical ability in gathering and reporting data, bonus calculations, territory alignments, etc.
  • Experience with Sales Force.com and preferred business acumen to support the analytics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ability to create power point presentations.
  • Ability to Multi-task and work independently under pressure.
  • Excellent written and high verbal communication skills.
  • Competitive drive to excel in career; has solid foundation of personal goals.
