NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER –

CONSUMER PRODUCT DIVISION


As an experienced National Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving retail sell-out, growing market share & managing your P&L down to GM for the specific category & customer both in-store & online. You will be joining at a pivotal time when you will have the opportunity to shape the future strategy of our UK discounter business, which is a fundamental area of growth. 2021 will see the most ambitious plan yet, which will give you the opportunity to drive strong growth over the coming years for both the retailer and L'Oréal.

You will take ownership of managing the strategy for all brands in your account whilst also working towards wider total channel responsibilities to be seen as a leader within the wider team. You will need to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all functions of the division, and be able to create persuasive commercial proposals both internally and externally to drive your business forward.


  • Be building credible and collaborative working relationships with your customer & key cross functional contacts, including supply, finance & marketing
  • Present internally & externally, to multiple stakeholders, new business opportunities which deliver value for both L'Oréal & the customer, considering the impact for your team but also the wider channel
  • Develop retailer centric strategies for your customer; identify joint objectives and build business plans for mutual growth
  • Sell brand & product propositions & negotiate commercial plans 
  • Influence future retailer initiatives and collaborations; ensuring our brands maximizes all available opportunities in store and online
  • Manage all lines of the P&L from, sell in down to gross margin, retail sell out and your share position in the market and SIT levels to ensure delivery of key KPIs both internally & externally
  • Work with your brand teams to identify additional retail opportunities for the brand
  • Educated to degree level
  • Highly numerate – strong analytically
  • Strong negotiator & look for a win-win opportunities with our retail partners
  • Driven and tenacious with a ‘anything is possible attitude’ 
  • Highly organized with prioritization skills.

  • Strong Communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail for creating sound commercial arguments 
  • Strong influencing skills – you will be required to demonstrate thought leadership as well as drive to execution
  • Experience in a fast paced sales / retail environment
