Media Operations Manager


Drive the future of media at L'Oréal UKI as Media Operations Manager. Partnering directly with the Head of Media Integration, you'll support in shaping our media strategy and realise ambitious goals through best-in-class execution, collaborative agency management, and innovative media partnerships. This is a pivotal role within the UKI CDMO Media team with the opportunity to make a real impact on our brands while forging impactful relationships. 


A DAY IN THE LIFE

    Media Partnership & Innovation: Lead the development and cultivation of strategic partnerships with key media owners/partners (META, TikTok, Snap, Amazon et al), driving innovation and maximizing ROI through Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and strategic value allocation, including proactive negotiation and value creation.

    Operational Excellence & Best Practice: Design, implement, and continuously optimize media operations processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and Golden Rules across all brands. Proactively track compliance and develop mechanisms for continuous improvement, fostering a culture of operational excellence within the UKI market. 

    Global Learning & UKI Media Leadership: Champion the implementation of Global Learning Agendas (GLAs) and establish UKI as a centre of excellence by proactively sharing best practices and insights with global, zone, and divisional/brand teams. 

    BETIQ Integration & Ethical Media: Spearhead the integration of BETIQ principles across all media campaigns, ensuring ethical and responsible media practices, and establishing L'Oréal UKI as a leader in inclusive marketing. 

    Gaming & Entertainment Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive gaming and entertainment strategy, proactively identifying opportunities for brand integration and maximizing impact within these rapidly evolving landscapes. 

    Media Budget Optimisation & Investments: Oversee media plan reviews and approvals in Contacts, focusing on strategic investment optimization, particularly in outdoor advertising and partnerships. Analyse campaign performance data to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement in budget allocation. 

    Market Knowledge: Provide thought leadership by proactively analysing media trends, disseminating market intelligence, and sharing best practices with Heads of Media and Brand teams, positioning yourself as a key resource for informed decision-making

    Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Act as one of the primary points of contact for the media agency and media partners, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration. Support the organisation of QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) and T2Ts (Top2Top) sessions with key partners, driving strategic alignment and maximizing partnership value. 

    Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with media-related regulations and L'Oréal's internal policies, proactively mitigating risks and upholding the highest ethical standards.


WHO YOU ARE

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and responsible individual to join our team! Our ideal candidate:  

    Must have 5-7 years of relevant work experience in media (operations), preferably in the beauty or FMCG industry

    Possesses a strong understanding of media agency relationships and operations

    Has experience with process management and governance in a media or marketing context

    Demonstrates proficiency in working with major digital platforms (e.g., META, TikTok, Snap, Amazon)

    Exhibits excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously

    Shows a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement

    Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

    Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations

    Demonstrates familiarity with quality management systems like BETIQ or similar frameworks

    Shows enthusiasm for emerging media channels, particularly in gaming and entertainment

    Has a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

    Exhibits a proactive approach to knowledge sharing and internal communications
