Job Summary:

The Manager, D2C Commercial Strategy plays a key role in the commercialization and sales planning for [Brand]'s D2C eCommerce business, partnering closely with brand Marketing and Sales. This role focuses on supporting the development and execution of D2C-specific product and channel strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to drive positive KPI results. The Manager collaborates with channel owners, contributes to strategic planning, and provides input on assortment, promotions, and budget allocation

 

What You Will Learn:

  • D2C Traffic Channel Strategy Execution & Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of the D2C traffic channel strategy, supporting the creation of the site activity calendar and collaborating with channel owners (Media, CRM, SEO) to achieve performance goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct analyses of category performance, activation results, and other relevant data to identify trends and insights. Prepare reports and presentations to inform brand strategy and D2C traffic channel planning.
  • Budget & Trend Monitoring & Analysis: Support the development and management of the D2C budget, contributing to trend analysis and forecasting. Work closely with Brand and D2C Sales Planning to provide data-driven recommendations for resource allocation.
  • Launch Support: Assist in the development and execution of launch plans for new products and initiatives, contributing to the investment strategy and maximizing impact within the D2C channel.
  • Promotion & Generosity Program Execution: Support the development and execution of promotional strategies and generosity programs, tracking performance and providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Assortment Strategy Input: Contribute to the development and management of the D2C product assortment strategy, providing input on exclusive offerings, core products, new launches, GWPs, bundles, and samples.
  • Sales Planning Support: Collaborate with the D2C Sales Planner, providing data and insights to support the sales forecasting and inventory planning process.
  • Logistical Support: Provide support for the logistical execution of promotional events, assisting with setup, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Product Sampling Coordination: Coordinate product sampling initiatives, working with relevant vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Customer Service Support: Support the brand's communication with the call center, contributing to the analysis of consumer feedback and identification of emerging needs.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • 2-5 years experience in a direct-to-consumer businesses with merchandising and commercialization exposure, sales planning and experience managing site experience a plus. 
  • Experience with product sampling, engraving and product customization 
  • Ability to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans 
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to prioritize initiatives and anticipate business needs 
  • Ability to build effective partnerships and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels 
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights and optimizations 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovatively, and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills 
  • Proven ability to influence others 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker 
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range [New York]: $98,400-$140,200 base salary (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
