Title: CDM/Brand Analyst - Target (L'Oreal Paris)

The Target CDM will contribute to the L’Oreal Brand business teams to accelerate omni sales fundamentals by identifying, measuring and monitoring key performance indicators in order to gain share profitably at the account. As the CDM, you will assist in developing brand strategy at the account by leveraging customer insights, data, and account levers to drive positive growth with the multi functional team.

Mission and defining characteristics:

  • Supports NAM’s in delivering brand objectives while working cross-functionally to effectively
  • meet customer needs
  • Analyze and define the growth levers relevant to customer with specific focus on the shopper
  • High level of engagement in the JBP process as well as strong financial acumen within the P&L
  • Category expert for the full Brand portfolio and competitive products at a specific customer

Main Tasks:

Customer Developer

  • Analyze the growth levers relevant to customer with specific focus on the shopper so selling is through shopper insights
  • Supports NAM’s with brand selling stories/strategies and tracking performance as well as post even analytics
  • Drive business fundamentals tied to product management (Promotion, Distribution, Post Audit, Deduction)

Team Contributor

  • Supports NAM on all fundamental analysis required
  • Drive the business as key member, by collaborating with multifunctional team and leveraging all insights to drive brand growth. Maintains all reporting needed to run the business

Category Support

  • Supports NAM on top door analysis, new item and hero item evaluation, JBP tracking
  • Reviews weekly inventory levels for key items and opportunities
  • Be the expert on all category analysis for own brand

Results Contributor

  • Owns the analysis of sales, inventory, promo and cascading to teams
  • Develops reporting for all initiatives and key opportunities
  • Supports NAM and eNAM on eComm objectives and growing e-share of business for category

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a business analysis role

·         Ability to multitask and achieve deadlines in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner

  • Proven knowledge of retailer strategies and objectives
  • Strong knowledge of retailer data/syndicated data
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Digital Tools knowledge (i.e. Clavis, Kwikee, EDS)
