Job Title: PD Planning Specialist – Operation Distribution Center(DC), Corporate

WHO WE ARE:

The Operation Distribution Center(DC) team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the physical distribution center. With a focus on logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment, the team works diligently to meet customer demands and deliver products in a timely manner. We are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of receiving, storing, and shipping goods, while maintaining accuracy and quality control. The Operation DC team collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve productivity, and enhance overall operational efficiency. With our expertise and attention to detail, the team ensures that products are handled with care and precision, contributing to the seamless flow of goods and customer satisfaction.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Optimize resources plan to meet objectives in terms of level of safety and service, costs, and manage budgets

• Develop and implement resource optimization strategies to ensure the achievement of objectives related to safety, service levels, and cost efficiency.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet operational requirements while managing budgets.

Control DC operational costs by all channels based on sales and unit forecasting (Trend & Budget Planning)

• Monitor and analyze sales and unit forecasts to control operational costs across all channels.
• Develop trend and budget plans to align with sales projections and optimize cost management.

Lead Physical Distribution OPEX / CAPEX Budget according to group guidelines

• Take ownership of the Physical Distribution Operational Expenditure (OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budget.
• Ensure adherence to group guidelines and effectively allocate resources to support operational needs.

Lead cost management by business environment

• Implement cost management strategies that align with the business environment and market conditions.
• Continuously monitor and analyze cost drivers, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

PD Cost & Capacity Planning (Execution focused with limited cost analysis for opportunity)

• Develop and execute cost and capacity planning strategies for Physical Distribution operations.
• Focus on execution and operational efficiency while identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

Manage other supplier's cost

• Collaborate with suppliers to manage costs effectively and ensure cost competitiveness.
• Negotiate and optimize supplier contracts to achieve cost savings and improve overall cost management.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Work Location: Icheon-si, Distribution Center
• Education : University graduate
• Years of experience : 3-7 years
• Specific Career Experience : 

-Preferred experience in physical distribution cost management with financial plan

-Experience in budget scheduling or related project

-Proficient in MS Excel, PPT, Word
