To further strengthen the presence of our brands at our Benelux e-commerce retailers, we are looking for an E-Commerce (Key) Account Manager. This role is part of the Professional Products Division. Known for its brands as, Kérastase, Redken, L’Oréal Professionnel, Shu Uemura and Matrix. We are looking for someone with passion for e-commerce, sales and beauty. The team

As E-Commerce (Key) Account Manager you will be part of a team that is fully focused on our E-commerce clients. You will report to the Head of E-commerce PPD, who reports to the Omnichannel Director of the division. The team is dedicated to accelerating our online sales by building and leveraging strong internal and external collaborations.


 The role

As E-Commerce (Key) Account Manager you will drive the profitability, growth and partnership of our online Pure Players portfolio. As part of our ecommerce team, you will develop and execute a plan to increase sales in close collaboration with our marketing, corporate and international teams.


Your main responsibilities

In this unique and strategic position, you are responsible for the set up of the collaboration together with the e-commerce lead with one of the largest online marketplaces in Benelux for our Professional Products Division and the Account Management for some other pure players. 


Your main responsibilities are:


  • Understanding the E-Commerce landscape and set up of critical KPI’s
  • To be the e-commerce specialist in the market (up-to-date knowledge)
  • Take full control to combine our and the client’s interest, to create a sustainable growth strategy and execution
  • Daily operational exchange with customers and building long-term business partnerships with stable relationships with key stakeholders on the customer side. 
  • Developing yearly activity plans and sell-out measures in close coordination with the customer and the activation team (E-marketing lead & online brand manager’s). 
  • Observing, analyzing, and reporting on customer E-COM activities and the market based on defined KPIs.
  • Strong collaboration with our international teams in Paris and other countries across Europe
  • Responsible for yearly commercial negotiations
  • Track and trace the sales parameters of the job (E.G. turnover, forecasting, etc.)


Your profile

We are looking for talents with a passion for E-Commerce and client relations. You have strong commercial and interpersonal skills. Entrepreneurial spirit, business sense, and the ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders. You are a media savvy team player who enjoys tackling complex issues, develops analytical solutions, and presents them in a structured manner. Outstanding communication and networking skills, as well as the ability to create interfaces. Language skills: Fluent in English.


Our ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelor and/or masters degree in a relevant field
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience 
  • Experienced with Pure Players platforms
  • in-depth knowledge of consumer brand and luxury on Amazon
  • Passion for e-commerce and/or media and a strong affinity with the dynamics of FMCG and Beauty
  • The ability to effectively coordinate complex processes and a diversity of stakeholders
  • English and either Dutch or French fluency is required
  • Marketplace management experience is a plus
