EHS Manager – Poland Baltics HUB

On the role, you will be responsible for:

  • 4 countries and multiples sites: 4 Offices, Shops, 2 Academies and our own distribution center
  • all facility-related environmental, health and safety requirements, including developing, maintaining, updating, and communicating all related company policies
  • fundamental guiding the facilities’ EHS culture and will be an important actor to  implement L’OREAL for the Future program

And your task will be to:

  • Guarantee the implementation of the Group’s EHS System to the HUB Sites by propose the orientations, the objectives and the annual EHS program of the Sites, observing the ethics rules and the EHS rules of the L'Oréal Group, as well as regulations and local authorities requirements
  • Display to the production and other back offices of the site services and infrastructures necessary to their work and meeting performance objectives
  • Be the coordinator and the guarantor of the correct application of the EHS Management System, and of the Safety and Environment certifications of the sites
  • Coordinate EHS Training Programs and insure awareness of measures and procedures to respect by all the employees
  • Ensure the protection and the sustainability of the sites property and assets
  • Bring support and EHS expertise to the operational staff of the sites when there is a need
  • Collect, analyze and communicate the EHS performance of the sites, propose improvement action plans
  • Contribute to comprehensive and accurate group EHS reporting
  • Maintain regular and transparent contacts with local authorities
  • Allow or prohibit the operation of installations, buildings or equipment on the sites, according to the results of the risk analysis 
  • Manage the budget of the ETN&EHS department, ensure the efficiency of EHS management system
  • Stop any site operations which are deemed to be too dangerous
  • Occasional traveling required: visiting each country once a month depending on epidemiological situation

You’re the perfect match if you have:

  • At least 10 years EHS working experience in fast-paced, multinational company, ideally with responsibility for big site(s) and with knowledge about the local market for Poland as min, ideally for Baltics too
  • Higher education diploma with a specialization in health and safety[GJ1]  or other relevant entitlements for EHS role
  • Knowledge of the current health and safety regulations, fire protection, REACH[GJ2] , environmental protection and the ability to use them in practice
  • Expérience in managing Health and Safety training and being key member of Health and Safety Committee
  • Very good organization of own work and setting priorities in a dynamically changing environment
  • Ability to build relationships, communicate and cooperate effectively at every level of the organization's structure
  • Strong influence and leadership skills with the ability to innovate and undertake initiatives and sensitive/important topics to the business
  • Exceptional responsibility, accountability and integrity
  • Focus on results and ability to manage complexity
  • Self-motivated approach
  • Driving license – B category
  • Fluency in English
