With comprehensive knowledge bank of digital/data/advance analytics and solid
understanding of branding & business operation, data team - an innovative member in
L’Oréal Paris DIC team - enables the brand to capture the market, detect the
opportunity, shape the product, & accelerate the growth.
Main responsibilities include
1. Lead holistic analytical exercises/projects delivering actionable insights for New
Product Launch & Big Campaign in TMALL / JD / Douyin and work closely with the
product owners to embed the capability within business routines.
2. Collaboratively work with both internal and external data science teams. Be the
bridge of business need & science language, and provide actionable
recommendation with commercial decode of appropriate modelling.
3. Co-create cutting-edge projects on new methodology / data tool / media
touchpoints with TMALL / JD / Douyin and establish a whole strategy frame &
executing process for both internal and external partners
4. Monitor the dynamic momentum in beauty industry on regular basis. Identify
emerging product trends and provide data-driven insights to inform opportunities in
new/diversified function, skin need & usage occasion, along with new consumer
tribes accordingly.
Requirements
1. More than 3 years’ experience in Data/EC/Digital industry
2. Experience in TMALL / JD / Douyin data tool (ie Databank / Strategy Center /
Shufang / Yuntu)
3. Able to establish strong working relationship across different functional teams
4. Proficiency in PPT & Excel
5. Experience of leveraging data science in project or able to use advance analytical
tool like R/python is a plus
6. Sensitive to data. Strong at logic thinking. Detail oriented.
